Skittles: A Case for a Cross-Promoted Social Media Campaign

The new www.skittles.com isn’t a typical consumer goods site and instead, draws upon content created by fans and consumers to populate the site they are viewing. Upon arrival, fans are greeted by an overlay which sits upon sites such as Twitter, Wikipedia, Facebook (our favorite part of Skittles Facebook interactive page is their game listed under the ‘boxes’ section), and Flickr. The overlay goes with you and connects you, wherever you go.
